Join Siemens Energy and take ownership of both strategic sourcing and procurement project management activities that directly support transformer production. You will partner with suppliers, project teams, and stakeholders to secure the materials and services needed to deliver successful projects while driving cost efficiency, quality, and supply security. How You’ll Make an Impact
- Lead strategic sourcing initiatives across direct and indirect categories, implement commodity strategies, develop preferred supplier portfolios, and analyze market trends to support sourcing decisions.
- Act as Procurement Project Manager within bid and execution projects, coordinating procurement activities, aligning stakeholders, securing the best sourcing solutions, and ensuring compliance with global procurement processes and standards.
- Build strong supplier partnerships by managing supplier relationships, supporting supplier segmentation, collaborating with commodity experts, and serving as a trusted procurement partner for internal customers.
- Negotiate contracts and commercial agreements including pricing, delivery schedules, payment terms, and sourcing strategies while driving early supplier involvement and cost optimization initiatives.
- Manage risk and continuously improve performance by monitoring supplier performance, implementing savings measures, reporting key KPIs, and working with commodity teams to enhance procurement processes and supply chain resilience.
- Bachelor's degree or above in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Around 4 years of procurement experience covering strategic sourcing, procurement project management, and operational procurement, ideally within an international business environment.
- Strong expertise in SAP, contract negotiation, claim management, supplier qualification and evaluation, RFX processes, eAuctions, and procurement strategy development.
- Proven ability to lead procurement activities in complex international projects, collaborate across functions, manage stakeholders and customer relationships, and conduct advanced international negotiations using data-driven decision-making.
- Advanced capabilities in Supply Chain Management, commercial and analytical disciplines, business acumen, and basic project management principles, along with advanced English proficiency for communication with global suppliers and international teams.
