About the Role
A Snapshot of Your Day:
As the Manager, Field Service IPS Estimating and Scheduling, you will lead the estimating and scheduling team supporting field service outages across North America, ensuring accurate cost estimates, effective resource planning, and successful project execution. You will be responsible for developing team capabilities, standardizing processes and workflows, and driving continuous improvement across estimating and scheduling functions. Working closely with field operations, project management, engineering, and business leadership, you will provide strategic oversight, establish governance and best practices, analyze performance metrics, and deliver reporting that improves forecasting accuracy, resource utilization, and operational efficiency. This role requires a strong leader with experience in project controls, cost estimating, resource planning, stakeholder management, and process improvement within an industrial or energy services environment.
How You’ll Make an Impact:
- Oversee the development and delivery of accurate cost estimates and proposals for field service projects.
- Manage the master schedule for field service resources to ensure optimal deployment and utilization.
- Develop and maintain standardized tools and best practices for estimating and scheduling functions.
- Analyze performance against estimates and schedules to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Lead a team of professionals in cost estimating and resource scheduling, fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration.
- Establish governance for estimating and scheduling processes, serving as the primary contact for internal stakeholders.
What You Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
- Candidates with more experience can be considered for a higher level or vice versa.
- 8+ years of experience in project management, cost estimating, resource scheduling, outage planning, or related operations within energy, power generation, or industrial services.
- 3-5 years of leadership experience managing and developing high-performing teams.
- Strong knowledge of project controls, resource planning, cost management, and process governance.
- Proven stakeholder management, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a track record of driving process improvements using data and performance metrics.

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
