Join us as a Project Procurement Manager and immerse yourself in the dynamic world of Controls & Digitalization. You will tackle project-related procurement challenges alongside a dedicated team, all while adhering to procurement rules and regulations. Imagine collaborating with various teams, including commercial and technical functions, as well as commodity managers, to drive project success. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring that procurement activities align seamlessly with project milestones, making a real impact on our operations.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- You will serve as the single point of contact for procurement within the project team, ensuring synchronization of all procurement activities with project milestones.
- Collaborate closely with Commodity Managers and Buyers to address procurement risks and opportunities effectively.
- Delegate ad-hoc procurement demands and consolidate lessons learned to enhance future project execution.
- Ensure all project procurement activities comply with standardized processes, maintaining high-quality standards.
- Act as the voice of the projects within the Procurement organization, driving a project-centric approach that prioritizes customer needs and elevates the supply chain.
What You Bring
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration or engineering, complemented by 2+ years of experience in Procurement and/or Project Management.
- Business fluency in English and German, enabling effective communication across all organizational levels.
- Strong project management skills, with a basic understanding of KPIs and reporting.
- A resilient, responsible, and structured mindset, with a passion for delivering quality results within deadlines.
- Curiosity and a desire to learn, along with the ability to plan and prioritize tasks effectively in a multicultural environment.
- Availability to travel for 20% of the time
