A Snapshot of Your Day
As an Computer Aided Design & Drafting, you will join a team of experienced Gas Turbine engineers who provide rapid and innovative reverse engineering solutions for gas turbine products. You will collaborate on assessing existing gas turbine products and determine the best reverse engineering process and methods to meet Siemens Energy's design standards on legacy designs.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Proficient in CAD modeling with logic-based parametric manipulation of 2-D/3-D geometry.
- Experienced with Siemens PLM Software (Teamcenter/NX), advanced surface design, and basic manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of TURBO machinery, preferably aeroderivative gas turbines.
- Skilled in documentation, illustration, and digital modeling of engineering designs.
- Capable of translating engineering requirements into technical blueprints and simulation models using CAD/CAM/CAE software.
- Experienced in creating digital prototypes, conducting design simulations, and collaborating with engineers to optimize designs.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 8+ years of experience in NX Modeling, Assembly, and NX-Drafting.
- 4+ years of experience in GD&T, Drawing Automation, and parametric solid modeling.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to develop creative design solutions.
- Experience working in a flexible, multi-functional, global team environment.
- Proven communication, presentation, and time-management skills with advanced
- Proficiency in English.
About the Team
Our Gas Services team offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
