About the Role
- Support technical issues and attending meetings
- Work with legacy drawing archive for ongoing service contract spares.
- Apply appropriate draughting skills and engineering techniques to produce accurate 2D and 3D CAD models, drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
- Issuing engineering technical specifications and utilising CAD and SAP systems to support efficient order processing.
- Work closely with our internal stakeholders i.e. Projects, Tendering, Field Service to execute & support technical drawing & BOM packages.
- Working with following 2D/3D CAD Software packages: - Siemens NX, PTC Creo, GTX Raster CAD, AutoCAD, PLM & BOM Management Software packages: - SAP & Teamcenter.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- You will be responsible for the preparation and submission for approval of 3D models, 2D drawings & BOM’s on turbine and generator components for power plants worldwide.
- Submit 3D models, 2D drawings & Material Master workflows via PLM Tools Teamcenter & SAP
- Contribute to quality and continuous improvement activities.
- Integrated into our COE team, you will execute work packages to support on time delivery of the required deliverables to our internal and external customers.
- You will be required to work independently and as part of a team as well as interface with internal and external stakeholders, as required.
- Check all work is suitable for purpose and has been carried out in accordance with valid rules, tools and procedures.
- Issue specifications, manufacturing data and technical support.
- A minimum of 3 years experience in an engineering environment.
- Knowledge/experience of draughting skills and techniques.
- Knowledge/experience of CAD Software packages i.e. Siemens NX, PTC Creo, GTX Raster CAD, AutoCAD.
- Knowledge/experience of PLM & BOM Management Software packages: - SAP & Teamcenter.
- Responsible for the execution of assigned work packages with a focus on attention to detail.
- Good written and spoken communication skills (fluent in English).
