A Snapshot of Your Day
As an HRSG Service Engineer, you will target candidates with a strong mechanical engineering background who are eager to engage in meaningful projects that enhance Siemens Energy’s major assets in the Middle East. You will lead inspections and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards while driving continuous improvement initiatives. How You’ll Make an Impact / Responsibilities
- Lead a team of NDT inspectors to carry out inspections on-site.
- Supervise subcontractors performing borescope, metallographic, and thermographic inspections.
- Plan and allocate resources for activities, ensuring timely training and skill management.
- Communicate with the engineering back office in Germany for collaborative problem-solving.
- Manage outage budgets, track expenses, and implement cost control measures.
- Support troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and customer technical requests.
What You Bring / Skills, Capabilities
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
- 5-10 years of experience with HRSG, including borescope inspection and non-destructive testing.
- Proficiency in reading P&ID, technical drawings, and understanding international codes.
- Fluent in English (verbal & written); knowledge of German is a plus.
- Willingness to travel frequently and work under challenging conditions.
- Strong problem-solving skills, interpersonal communication, and commitment to HSE and quality.

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
