A Snapshot of your day
Your day involves leading power plant operations to ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient generation of power, while driving operational excellence and supporting service delivery commitments across the region. You will oversee and develop a team of engineering professionals, monitor plant performance, and ensure full compliance with health, safety, environmental, and regulatory standards through effective risk management and operational oversight.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Lead and oversee day-to-day power plant operations to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient power generation while achieving operational performance targets.
- Monitor plant performance, optimize output and efficiency, and coordinate maintenance, commissioning, and outage activities to minimize operational disruptions.
- Manage and develop a team of operations professionals by setting objectives, providing coaching, conducting performance reviews, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and stakeholder requirements while promoting accountability and operational excellence.
- Drive HSE and risk management initiatives by enforcing safety standards, mitigating operational risks, and reporting on plant performance, compliance, and safety metrics to senior management
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline, with extensive experience in power plant operations.
- Proven leadership experience managing professional teams within industrial, utilities, or energy generation environments.
- Strong technical expertise in power plant systems, including control systems, boilers, high-voltage equipment, preventive maintenance, and commissioning.
- Demonstrated capability in operational planning, budgeting, forecasting, project scheduling, procurement, and risk management.
- Thorough understanding of HSE regulations, safety standards, quality control processes, accountability, and analytical problem-solving.

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
