A Snapshot of Your Day
This role is part of the Polish Equipment Center, which supports onshore wind power service operations. This position is essential for restoring operational stability and maintaining the readiness of critical tools and equipment. To address this business need, the role will focus on Equipment Inspection & Maintenance, Documentation & Compliance, and close collaboration within the team. These areas cover the hands-on testing, preparation, and manage repair coordination of specialized wind energy tools, the associated record-keeping to ensure quality and safety standards, and working effectively as a team player to manage shared responsibilities. Furthermore, there will be inventory and housekeeping tasks in the Equipment Center. Given the focus on equipment readiness and quality assurance, the ideal candidate will have a practical background in industrial equipment maintenance, supported by vocational or technical training. They must be detail-oriented, collaborative, capable of working with moderate supervision, and proficient in technical documentation.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Inspect, test, and adjust specialized tools and equipment for wind turbine construction to ensure conformance with technical specifications.
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and diagnose faults on mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical equipment.
- Conduct repairs on tools, gauges, and fixtures, and determine the salvageability of defective or worn components.
- Maintain detailed records of all inspection, testing, maintenance, and calibration activities for the equipment fleet.
- Ensure all equipment documentation and certifications are up-to-date and compliant with internal and regulatory standards. Assist in managing the inventory of tools and related spare parts,
- reporting on stock levels and requirements.
- Collaborate with team members to manage workload, prioritize tasks, and ensure efficient operation of the Equipment Center.
- Support and share technical knowledge with colleagues to foster a cooperative work environment.
What You Bring
- Vocational or technical education in a relevant field such as mechanics, electronics, or industrial engineering.
- Proven work experience in a hands-on role involving the inspection, maintenance, and repair of industrial or heavy construction equipment.
- Experience with quality control procedures and maintaining technical documentation is highly desirable.
- Technical expertise: Skilled in tool and equipment inspection, preventive maintenance, and mechanical/electrical systems, with strong knowledge of quality control and compliance standards.
- Documentation & quality focus: Experienced in maintaining technical documentation, ensuring accuracy, and adhering to quality requirements.
- Strong collaboration skills: Detail-oriented problem solver with effective communication abilities and a collaborative teamwork approach.
