A Snapshot of Your Day

The predictive specialist will be responsible for remotely assessing the health of wind turbine drivetrain equipment (gearboxes and bearings) throughout SGRE’s fleet of maintained wind farms in Norh and South America. This will be done primarily through vibration analysis, but can also include evaluations of additional remote data sources to assess the health of the components, with the goal being early identification of developing defects. The candidate will also be responsible for reporting and communicating the results to the relevant stakeholders.

● Help the region reduce the cost and complexity of needed repairs and replacements through an early identification of developing defects on wind turbine drivetrain equipment

● Provide clear and organized reports to communicate analysis results

● Guide the region and relevant stakeholders by helping determine prioritization of needed repairs and replacements

● Contribute new ideas for improved processes and cost reductions

● Identify any potential issues with vibration detection equipment or data communication and initiate a plan to resolve

What You Bring

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering / Electromechanical Technician – Mechanical.
• An analytical mindset with an interest in data analysis
• Experience with vibration analysis
• Good communication skills with attention towards clear reporting and organization
• Vibration Analyst Certification: minimum CAT II
