Behind every successful energy project is a strong network of trusted suppliers. As Supplier Quality Manager, you will play a key role in strengthening supplier performance and fostering a culture of quality across the value chain. Working closely with internal stakeholders and external partners, you will help ensure high standards, manage risks, and support continuous improvement. Your contribution will enable reliable project execution while helping shape more efficient, data-driven ways of working. Through your expertise, you will support Siemens Energy Digital Grid's mission to accelerate the energy transition with innovative technologies and solutions.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Shape and continuously improve supplier quality standards, governance frameworks, and best-practice processes across the organization.
- Lead supplier qualification, assessment, audit, and development activities for strategic and business-critical suppliers.
- Monitor quality performance through KPIs and scorecards, driving effective corrective and preventive actions to support continuous improvement.
- Identify potential supplier risks early and establish mitigation plans that help ensure supply chain resilience and business continuity.
- Advance the digitalization and automation of supplier quality processes, creating more efficient and scalable ways of working.
- Leverage data analytics and AI-enabled tools to strengthen quality insights, support predictive risk management, and enable better decision-making while collaborating with Procurement, Engineering, and Project Management teams.
What You Bring
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Several years of experience in Supplier Quality Management, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing Quality, Procurement, Engineering, or a comparable function.
- Hands-on expertise in supplier audits, quality management systems, root cause analysis, CAPA processes, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience within energy, industrial automation, automotive, electronics, software, telecommunications, or similar industries is highly valued.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills, combined with the ability to lead cross-functional projects and initiatives.
- Professional fluency in English and a data-driven mindset with an interest in digital technologies, automation, and AI-supported quality management solutions.
