A Snapshot of Your Day

Join our Field Service International (FSI) team, where you will play a vital role in supporting and coordinating international Siemens Energy entities that serve the global 50, 60 Hz, and Legacy Westinghouse Nuclear markets. As the International Nuclear Assistant District Service Manager, you will assist the International Nuclear District Service Manager in outage preparation, focusing on technical scope, manpower, equipment, tax liability tracking, and visa delegation processes that support projects for both the regional Siemens Energy entity and the end customer. You will have the opportunity to meet and interact with regional Siemens Energy entities and customers across the globe, developing new relationships and networks with individuals from diverse backgrounds and cultures. Additionally, you will engage in networking and relationship-building throughout the Siemens Energy RNA functional organizations, including engineering, specialty services, repair networks, Complex Projects, tooling, and logistics, making a significant impact on our collaborative efforts.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with local Siemens entities for Large Turbine Generators and Nuclear Frames, ensuring positive interactions with local customers.
  • Collaborate with platform teams, including Scope Planning, Resource Coordination, Specialty Services, Tooling, and Logistics, to deliver “best-in-class” customer service.
  • Coordinate the regular activities of FSI district field engineers and support staff, following the direction of the District Service Manager (DSM).
  • Assist Regional DSMs in specialty resource planning and logistics for personnel and equipment required for Nuclear and Large Fossil frame outage implementations.
  • Provide semi-complex project support to field service resources and customers through effective communication via telephone and email, documenting all interactions accordingly.
  • Participate in troubleshooting and diagnosing operating issues of Large Turbine Generators and Nuclear frames, while ensuring compliance with Purchase Order, Invoice, and Cost Transfer-ICC processes in collaboration with the FSI Central Operations Group and Finance.

What You Bring

  • A high school diploma or GED with 5-8 years of significant experience as a Turbine Generation Field Service contributor.
  • Experience working in SAP PD2, OPP, SFDC Lightning is desired but not required.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with a proactive, self-starting approach to identifying challenges, developing solutions, and implementing them independently.
  • Proficiency in any of the following languages is desired but not required: Portuguese, Spanish, Chinese.
  • Willing to travel 20% domestically and internationally.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
