- Develop and implement the Offshore Execution HSE strategy aligned with corporate priorities, while integrating HSE considerations into leadership, business decisions, and project execution.
- Foster a culture of safety and accountability by championing Zero Harm, visible leadership, and psychological safety, and enhancing HSE capabilities through coaching, talent development, and continuous learning.
- Customer, stakeholder, industry and regulatory engagement
- Establish trusted relationships and act as the primary HSE representative for senior leadership, customers, suppliers, regulators, and other external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal teams and industry bodies to ensure alignment on HSE standards, performance, audits, and regulatory requirements.
- Support customer engagement by addressing HSE performance, lessons learned, audits, and improvement priorities.
- Project planning, execution and operational HSE excellence
- Ensure effective HSE resource allocation and consistent implementation of project HSE plans, risk controls, and local requirements.
- Plan, monitor, and report on project HSE activities, including documentation, audits, inspections, and verification points.
- Support teams in mitigating complex HSE risks and sharing lessons learned across regions.
- Maintain leadership visibility across all project sites and workplaces to oversee HSE implementation throughout the project lifecycle.
- HSE governance, compliance and supply chain
- Ensure compliance with HSE legislation, regulatory standards, and corporate/customer requirements while managing HSE systems, policies, and operational controls.
- Establish governance to monitor performance, drive accountability, ensure transparent reporting, and manage contractor/subcontractor HSE performance throughout all project phases.
- Performance monitoring, incident learning and risk management
- Analyze HSE performance data, monitor indicators and trends, and provide management reporting to identify risks and prioritize improvements.
- Ensure thorough investigation of significant incidents, implement and verify corrective actions, and oversee risk identification and mitigation throughout the project lifecycle.
- Lead improvement projects and HSE programs while driving organizational learning from incidents, audits, inspections, and operational experiences.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Extensive progressive experience in EHS, with a significant portion in a senior leadership capacity managing global or regional functions.
- Proven experience in the energy, construction, or heavy industry sector, with a preference for exposure to offshore operations.
- Leadership & Strategy Sills in Strategic Planning, Executive Leadership, Change Management as well as Global Operations Management and Stakeholder Management
- EHS Technical Expertise in Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Management Systems, International Regulatory Compliance, Risk Assessment and Management as well as Incident Investigation and Root Cause Analysis
- Business & Interpersonal Skills like Business Acumen, Executive Communication and Influencing
