A Snapshot of Your Day
This role is being created to provide dedicated, on-site project management support for tower production activities at a manufacturing facility in Poland. The position is essential for ensuring effective project execution, strong stakeholder coordination, and close follow-up of production, quality, and delivery objectives.
To meet these objectives, the role is structured around three core areas: hands-on project management and execution to control scope, schedule, and budget; oversight of manufacturing operations and quality processes; and coordination between internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure seamless execution.
The ideal candidate will bring proven project management experience within a manufacturing, heavy industry, or construction environment, combined with a strong understanding of production processes, quality management, and stakeholder engagement.
The role has an initial fixed-term contract, for 12 months.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets for the tower prototype production, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
- Track project progress against key performance indicators and milestones, implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks related to cost, schedule, quality, and supply chain.
- Prepare and deliver regular project status reports and documentation to management and key stakeholders.
- Act as the primary on-site representative at the new facility in Poland, overseeing day-to-day project activities.
- Monitor manufacturing processes to ensure adherence to engineering specifications, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and quality standards.
- Facilitate the resolution of technical issues and troubleshoot problems that arise during the production phase.
- Coordinate with quality assurance teams to implement and monitor quality control checks throughout the manufacturing process.
- Manage communication and coordinate activities with external vendors, tooling providers, and parts suppliers to ensure cost, delivery, and quality targets are met.
- Serve as the central point of contact between the production facility, internal engineering teams, and program management.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 3-5 years of experience in project management within a manufacturing, heavy industry, or construction environment.
- Project & Process Management skills: Project scoping, scheduling, budgeting, risk management, implementation, and process improvement.
- Manufacturing & Engineering Expertise: Manufacturing engineering, GMP compliance, quality control, and troubleshooting/problem solving skills.
- Stakeholder & Business Management skills: Influencing, negotiation, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Personal Effectiveness: Strong accountability and results-driven execution.
- Polish language is mandatory (Fluent level).
