A Snapshot of Your Day
As a Service Transition Manager, you will ensure that new digital services, applications, and process changes are successfully introduced into operational support. You will work across business, technology, project, and support teams to prepare services for launch, establish clear ownership, and enable a seamless move from implementation to day-to-day operations.
Your contribution will help reduce operational risk, strengthen service quality, and create scalable transition practices that support long-term business value.
How You'll Make an Impact
- Lead end-to-end transitions of digital services and business applications into operational support, applying the defined service transition framework, including milestones, readiness criteria, approvals, and stakeholder checkpoints.
- Perform quality checks at framework gates to ensure services meet agreed readiness and governance standards before moving forward, and assess operational readiness across processes, documentation, support models, access requirements, and knowledge transfer.
- Act as the first point of contact for new service requests and guide the onboarding process until a dedicated Service Owner is identified; coordinate readiness reviews and workshops with business, technology, project, and support teams.
- Ensure support responsibilities, escalation paths, and operating procedures are clearly defined before launch; track risks, dependencies, and open actions, driving timely resolution and transparent status updates.
- Support post-launch stabilization and apply lessons learned to continuously improve transition practices.
- Promote standardized, scalable service onboarding aligned with operational excellence and compliance expectations.
