Supervise the planning, execution, inspection, maintenance, and mechanical repair of electric generators, electric motors, and steam turbines at the QSC, ensuring compliance with technical requirements, EHS standards, quality requirements, delivery schedules, and project financial objectives

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Perform technical planning and supervise the execution of disassembly, inspection, measurement, repair, assembly, and electrical testing activities in the workshop and/or field.
• Lead service teams and specialized personnel during project execution, ensuring effective allocation of activities, priorities, and resources.
• Verify the proper application of procedures, work instructions, acceptance criteria, EHS protocols, and quality guidelines throughout each stage of the service.
• Provide technical support for diagnostics of electric generators and electric motors, including rotor, stator, insulation systems, windings, bearings, couplings, alignment, and associated testing.
• Compile and review technical inspection reports based on formats generated by operations, quality, and engineering personnel, ensuring traceability of findings and recommendations.
• Monitor and validate working hours reported by operational personnel, ensuring timely registration in MySPGI and compliance with productivity and profitability targets.

What You Bring

• Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 to 10 years of experience in maintenance, repair, technical supervision, or service of electric generators, electric motors, steam turbines, and/or industrial rotating equipment.
• Leadership, technical personnel management, and development of high-performance teams
• Electric generators: rotor and stator inspection, insulation systems, windings, rings, brushes, bearings, and associated mechanical components.
• Interpretation of mechanical and electrical drawings, tolerances, fits, dimensional measurements, and technical service documentation.
• Intermediate technical English. Preferred: certifications in EHS/LOTO, safe lifting operations, non-destructive testing, laser alignment, vibration analysis, and quality management.
