A Snapshot of the day
In your role, as SRIP, you will serve as the dedicated cybersecurity lead and main point of contact in customer projects, coordinating all activities required to ensure compliance with cybersecurity requirements, applicable regulations, laws, and standards such as ISA/IEC 62443, while addressing the specific security needs of customer solutions and products. This role offers the opportunity to drive cybersecurity excellence in complex grid technology projects, acting as a trusted partner for customers and project teams from concept to delivery.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Serve as the central Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for all cybersecurity topics throughout the tendering and execution phases of customer projects.
- Act as the dedicated cybersecurity interface towards customers, ensuring clear communication, alignment, and trust on security-related matters.
- Lead projects through all cybersecurity activities in accordance with internal processes, applicable regulations, legal requirements, and relevant standards such as ISA/IEC 62443.
- Ensure consistent implementation of customer, regulatory and internal cybersecurity requirements across assigned projects.
- Coordinate cybersecurity-related topics with engineering teams, suppliers, customers, commissioning teams, and project management, to ensure clear ownership and avoid gaps or overlaps.
- Support Procurement in translating cybersecurity requirements into supplier contracts and contribute to supplier clarification and negotiation processes.
- Coordinate and maintain threat and risk assessments, for project systems, including identification of vulnerabilities, risk evaluation, mitigation measures, and residual risk documentation across the project lifecycle, including tenders.
- Provide technical cybersecurity guidance to project managers and support clear customer communication, including the management of deviations from customer requirements.
- Enable efficient project execution by aligning cybersecurity requirements with project scope, schedule and supplier landscape.
- Monitor cybersecurity risks, deviations, open points, deliverables, schedule, and budget within assigned project work packages.
- Consolidate and maintain all cybersecurity relevant documentation to ensure transparency, compliance and audit readiness.
What You Bring
- University degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Electronics or a related field.
- Strong background in Industrial Cybersecurity within complex project and system environments.
- Solid knowledge of relevant standards and regulations, especially ISA/IEC 62443.
- General knowledge of electrical systems (HVDC is a plus).
- Experience in project engineering and project management, including customer clarification and collaboration within complex, cross-functional teams.
- Experience with threat and risk analysis, vulnerability assessment, and penetration testing activities.
- Ability to manage subcontracted engineering work packages, including scope definition, milestones, deliverables, and follow-up of execution.
- Strong skills in scheduling, progress tracking, and reporting.
- Experience in budget planning, tracking, and reporting.
- Professional reporting as well as strong communication skills are expected
- Capability of multitasking, with excellent organizational skills while assuring a high-quality work process.
- Intercultural sensitivity, to work in (virtual) international team
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills, ability to analyze and learn as well as motivation, result orientation and enthusiasm to make a positive contribution to the team.
- Fully conversant with Microsoft – Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio
- Business-level fluency in English. German skills will be beneficial.
- Willingness to travel internationally (<30%)
