A Snapshot of Your Day
In your role as Industrial Cybersecurity Test Manager, you will drive the definition and implementation of a cybersecurity testing strategy for our IT and OT systems. You will closely cooperate with stakeholders to align the strategy to the needs of our business. You will support internal and external projects to meet their cybersecurity requirements. Embedded in a team of cybersecurity experts you have the chance to see cybersecurity from different angles and continuously exchange with and learn from colleagues around the world. Your contribution will help to improve the resilience of critical infrastructure to face the challenges of today’s world. How You’ll Make an Impact
- Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of cybersecurity testing strategies for IT and OT systems supporting critical energy transmission infrastructure.
- Define and maintain approaches to continuously verify compliance with cybersecurity requirements and ensure the overall security of systems and solutions.
- Support departments in building and strengthening cybersecurity testing capabilities, competencies, and best practices.
- Provide expert support to customers and R&D projects to enable the delivery of secure systems, products, and solutions.
- Align cybersecurity testing activities with established cybersecurity processes to ensure consistent execution, traceability, and repeatability.
- Ensure cybersecurity testing requirements are addressed in accordance with applicable regulations, standards, and industry best practices, including IEC 62443 and NERC CIP.
- Advise on and support the definition, setup, and continuous improvement of appropriate cybersecurity testing environments.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional departments to drive the successful deployment and adoption of the cybersecurity testing strategy.
What You Bring
- University degree in IT Security, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Electronics, Electrical Engineering with focus on IT Security or a comparable qualification with extensive professional experience in OT or product security.
- Solid knowledge of relevant cybersecurity standards and regulations (e.g., IEC 62443, CRA, NERC CIP, BDEW Whitepaper, ISO27001).
- Experience in performing cybersecurity testing in the discipline of OT or product security. Skills in testing tools like Kali Linux, Nessus, Wireshark and Nmap.
- Experience with firewalls, certificates, intrusion detection systems, TLS/SSL, 802.1X.
- Proven ability to develop and enforce cybersecurity policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Demonstrated experience in driving cybersecurity testing in OT or product security.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, and iterative planning, and backlog management.
- Capability of multitasking, with excellent organizational skills while assuring a high-quality work process.
- Intercultural sensitivity, to work in (virtual) international team.
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills, ability to analyze and learn as well as motivation, result orientation and enthusiasm to make a positive contribution to the team.
- Fully conversant with Microsoft – Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio
- Business-level fluency in English. German skills will be beneficial.
- Willingness to travel internationally (<30%)
