In your role as Industrial Cybersecurity Expert, you will play a key role in defining and implementing cybersecurity concepts, while aligning solutions and requirements across all relevant stakeholders and teams. You will lead the rollout of cybersecurity processes and practices by delivering training programs, providing expert guidance, and closely collaborating with engineering and development teams. In addition, you will support the organization in maintaining compliance with applicable cybersecurity regulations, standards, and internal policies. You will contribute to internal and external projects by ensuring the effective implementation of cybersecurity requirements throughout the project lifecycle. As an expert in your field, you will proactively address emerging cybersecurity challenges, facilitate cross-functional coordination, and drive timely and effective resolutions to support project success and organizational resilience. Embedded in a team of cybersecurity experts you have the chance to see cybersecurity from different angles and continuously exchange with and learn from colleagues around the world. Your contribution will help to improve the resilience of critical infrastructure to face the challenges of today’s world.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Analyzing cybersecurity requirements derived from applicable regulations, industry standards, and customer specifications, translating them into actionable measures and ensuring their fulfillment through comprehensive traceability.
- Supporting the definition, alignment and implementation of a holistic cybersecurity requirements engineering framework.
- Providing guidance and training to various departments to support the effective implementation of cybersecurity requirements engineering.
- Leading cybersecurity process implementation initiatives and foster organizational awareness through training and knowledge sharing.
- Supporting regulatory and standards compliance by implementing cybersecurity requirements in line with IEC 62443, NERC CIP, EU Data Act, CRA, and other relevant frameworks.
What You Bring
- University degree in IT Security, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Electronics, Electrical Engineering with focus on IT Security or a comparable qualification with extensive professional experience in OT or product security.
- Proven experience in performing cybersecurity requirements engineering in the discipline of OT and/or product security environments.
- Proficiency in requirements engineering tools, such as Polarion, MagicDraw, and DOORS.
- Proven experience in developing, deploying, and delivering training for processes within a complex enterprise environment.
- Solid knowledge of relevant cybersecurity standards and regulations (e.g., ISA/IEC 62443, CRA, NERC CIP, BDEW Whitepaper, ISO27001).
- Familiarity with agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, and iterative planning, and backlog management.
- Capability of multitasking, with excellent organizational skills while assuring a high-quality work process
- Intercultural sensitivity, to work in (virtual) international team
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills, ability to analyze and learn as well as motivation, result orientation and enthusiasm to make a positive contribution to the team.
- Fully conversant with Microsoft – Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio
- Business-level fluency in English. German skills will be beneficial.
- Willingness to travel internationally (<30%)
