A Snapshot of Your Day

Your workday is varied and dynamic. You start by planning the most important activities and priorities for the day. Typically, your time is divided between assigned projects, providing technical support to ongoing projects, and coordinating with external engineering partners responsible for civil and structural scope.

You prepare technical inputs for turbine foundation design and perform static and dynamic foundation calculations. You regularly review technical documentation and deliverables from external partners, providing clear requirements and constructive feedback. Throughout the day, you collaborate closely with project teams, participate in technical discussions, and respond to project and customer needs. You may also support complex technical cases or contribute to proposal activities for future projects. In addition, you will work closely with colleagues from other Siemens Energy locations within our international organization.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Prepare technical documentation and engineering inputs for steam turbine foundation design.
• Perform and review static and dynamic foundation calculations in accordance with applicable standards and regulations.
• Design foundations for heavy rotating equipment and turbomachinery installations.
• Define and develop civil and structural requirements for customer site preparation activities.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams and coordinate external engineering partners.
• Support the development and sharing of technical expertise within the organization.
• Contribute to international projects and collaborate with colleagues across Siemens Energy locations.

What You Bring

• University degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Experience with foundation design for heavy rotating equipment.
• Hands-on experience with engineering software used for the design and analysis of machinery foundations.
• Experience with dynamic and/or static calculations
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Team-oriented mindset combined with the ability to work independently and take ownership of technical solutions.
• You hold EU passport/valid work permit
