Your day involves leading the end-to-end planning, execution, and successful delivery of power plant projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and clients while applying your leadership and technical expertise to drive project success and support Siemens Energy's mission of building a sustainable energy future.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Lead the end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of power plant projects, ensuring compliance with agreed timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Coordinate and guide cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives while maintaining the highest health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure project requirements and expectations are successfully met.
- Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, manage contract negotiations, and resolve issues to enhance project performance and minimize disruptions.
- Drive continuous improvement by optimizing workflows, leveraging data-driven insights, and coaching project teams to foster collaboration, accountability, and successful delivery across multiple projects.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering; project management certification (e.g., PMP) is preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of experience leading and delivering large-scale projects within the power generation, energy, or related industries.
- Proven expertise in EPC, turnkey, and lump-sum projects, including project, interface, and construction management across all phases of project execution.
- Hands-on site experience representing project management teams during construction, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and plant start-up activities.
- Strong knowledge of risk management, contract administration, and dispute resolution, complemented by excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills in English. Additional language proficiency, particularly Arabic, is considered an advantage.
About the Team
Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
