Working closely with colleagues and customers around the world, you will contribute to sustainable and innovative solutions that help shape the future of the maritime sector. You will work with design/projects, service, commissioning and technical support of Siemens Energy Marine Solutions (UPS, Drives, PLC, HMI, Network, Digitalization). The solutions are mainly based on frequency converters with battery technology and associated automation systems.

What You Bring

We are looking for someone with a background in electrical engineering, automation, or a related technical field. You may be an engineer, technician within electrical or automation, with relevant experience from the marine, offshore, or industrial sectors.

To succeed in this role, you:

• Have education withing electrical engineering, automation, or related discipline
• Have some experience from marine, offshore, industrial automation, power systems or high-voltage qualifications
• Have good communication skills in both Norwegian and English, written and verbal
• Work independently while also enjoying collaboration in cross-functional teams

You must expect about 80-100 travel days a year.
