A Snapshot of Your Day
As a Senior Legal Counsel, you will provide professional legal support for post-closing project activities, contract management, claims handling, and complex commercial matters. You will work closely with business stakeholders to mitigate risks, manage contractual obligations, and ensure compliance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
Your role will be critical in supporting business continuity by delivering practical legal guidance, drafting and reviewing key legal documents, and helping resolve contractual and commercial challenges across the organization.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Draft, review, negotiate, and amend commercial contracts, service agreements, legal notices, and other business-critical documentation.
- Manage contract and claims-related matters, including preparation of legal correspondence, contractual assessments, and dispute mitigation strategies.
- Provide legal advice on commercial, regulatory, and compliance matters while identifying and mitigating legal risks.
- Support meetings, negotiations, and stakeholder discussions by providing practical legal guidance and documentation support.
- Coordinate with external counsel and support dispute resolution activities in line with business objectives.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law (LL.B. / LL.M.) or equivalent legal qualification.
- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in a law firm or as in-house counsel, with a focus on Indian/APAC corporate and commercial law.
- Strong experience in contract drafting, contract management, claims management, legal analysis, and legal research.
- Knowledge of corporate governance, compliance requirements, risk management, and commercial legal practices.
- Experience reviewing and negotiating commercial agreements and supporting complex business transactions.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to provide practical, risk-based legal solutions.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
- Ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced business environment while managing multiple priorities.
