A Snapshot of Your Day
As an IT/OT Partner, you will act as the interface between manufacturing and IT at the Siemens Energy Jundiaí GT manufacturing facilities (Transformers, Switchgears and Capacitors). In this role, you will be responsible for understanding the customer and ensuring their IT concerns are addressed. An IT/OT Partner should possess a strong technical understanding of IT topics, excellent communication and project management skills, and familiarity with manufacturing environments.
How You’ll Make an Impact
With a connected digital factory, IT plays a critical role in the success of factory operations. You will make an impact by supporting and improving the IT services and value we deliver, including shop floor PCs, Manufacturing machine system integration, a suite of manufacturing applications, Industrial IoT, and extensive network infrastructure. You will be responsible for engaging with stakeholders in the factory to stay aligned to their IT shop floor needs and delivering solutions with a customer service mindset.
  • Collaborate with project teams to define, implement, and support IT/OT infrastructure requirements across manufacturing facilities.
  • Design, install, and manage network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, wireless networks, servers, and operating systems to ensure reliable factory operations.
  • Implement and maintain cybersecurity controls, ensure compliance with corporate security standards, and perform continuous system monitoring.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve IT, OT, and shop floor system issues, minimizing downtime and maintaining operational continuity.
  • Drive innovation in digital manufacturing by evaluating emerging technologies and helping establish future automation and manufacturing standards.
  • Configure and maintain IIoT devices, sensors, and gateways, while creating comprehensive technical documentation and knowledge-sharing resources to support business operations.
What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience in IT roles, including systems administration and network management.
  • Hands-on experience in troubleshooting and providing technical support in industrial settings.
  • Familiarity with IT infrastructure, networking hardware, and operating systems.
  • Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, and Security+.
  • Strong analytical skills and a commitment to security and compliance best practices.
