About the Role
A Snapshot of Your Day
Join us as a Field Service Engineer, where you will play a pivotal role in providing essential Instrumentation & Control (I&C) support for a key customer’s data center project in the USA. Imagine being at the forefront of on-site commissioning and technical support, ensuring the successful installation and start-up of critical I&C systems. You will engage in project and site coordination, working closely with clients and teams to address technical requirements. Your expertise will shine as you create comprehensive documentation that supports ongoing operations, making a significant impact on the project’s success.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- You will perform on-site installation, commissioning, and start-up of I&C systems, including PLCs and SCADA.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex electrical and control system issues at customer sites, specifically for data center infrastructure.
- Conduct functional tests and system verifications to ensure performance meets project specifications and quality standards.
- Plan and coordinate all on-site commissioning activities, adhering to project schedules and milestones.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive commissioning documentation, including test procedures, manuals, and quality plans.
What You Bring
- You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Control & Instrumentation Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Proven experience as a Field Service Engineer or Commissioning Engineer, demonstrating the ability to work independently on complex projects.
- Advanced knowledge and hands-on experience with I&C systems, particularly in industrial or critical infrastructure environments like data centers or power generation.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with a focus on quality assurance and control.
- Excellent project execution and management abilities, including workflow management and adherence to project schedules.
