As an I&C Commissioning Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the successful execution of large-scale, global Siemens Energy projects. You will be responsible for the on-site commissioning of Instrumentation & Control (I&C) and Distributed Control Systems (DCS) for a diverse range of innovative energy solutions, including low-emission power plants, grid stabilization systems, and battery storage facilities. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the seamless and reliable operation of our advanced automation technologies, directly contributing to the global energy transition. Your primary responsibilities will involve the independent commissioning of control and process systems, from initial functional tests to the final handover to the client. This includes conducting rigorous tests on protection and control systems, performing control loop optimizations, and actively troubleshooting any issues to ensure system integrity and performance. You will work hands-on with our state-of-the-art Siemens Energy DCS systems, such as OMNIVISE T3000, to bring complex industrial plants online efficiently and safely. This role requires a proactive and technically adept professional with a strong background in electrical or automation engineering. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic, multinational team environment and possesses a high degree of autonomy and problem-solving skills. A profound willingness to undertake continuous, multi-month international travel is essential, as you will be deployed to project sites worldwide to ensure the quality and success of our commissioning activities.
