A Snapshot of Your Day
As a (senior) Strategy Manager, you will drive strategic initiatives across the Controls & Digital businesses, partnering with regional and functional leaders to shape business priorities and deliver sustainable growth. Your work will combine strategic analysis, project leadership, and stakeholder engagement to advance key initiatives in digitalization, decarbonization and business transformation.
You will lead cross-functional projects, develop insights and recommendations for senior leadership, monitor business performance, and facilitate management discussions that translate strategy into action. Success in this role requires a combination of analytical rigor, strong communication skills, a results-oriented mindset, and the ability to navigate a complex, international environment while balancing strategic vision with execution excellence.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Supporting the development and implementation of mid- to long-term business strategy for the Controls & Digital business, in alignment with Gas Services strategy
- Plan, implement, manage, and propose recommendations on cross-functional strategic projects identified by Controls & Digital senior management to execute the business strategy and deliver value to the customers and the organization
- Create analyses and presentation materials for Leadership team as required, including the BU/Div
- Preparation and coordination of internal meetings with Function, Regions and Business Unit (weekly/monthly)
- Preparation and moderation of regional-internal management conferences/events
What You Bring
- Master's degree in business, engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in business strategy, management consulting, or related roles in the energy sector; financial knowledge and understanding of the controls market are considered a plus
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful business strategies and delivering results
- Task oriented, ability to capture “big picture” but to drive projects to completion with great attention to detail until completion
- Innovative and creative thinking. Responds well to business and time pressure
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills as well as excellent communication and presentation skills, combined with high self-driven motivation and result-orientation
- Ability to work effectively in a complex, dynamic, and multicultural environment
