About the Role
- Support project and site teams in managing occupational health and safety and environmental protection requirements at construction sites
- Provide proactive EHS advice, training, and support on legal, company, and customer requirements. Collaborate with site management to maintain safe working conditions
- Regularly inspect and assess working conditions, monitor compliance with OHS and environmental requirements, and stop work if non-compliance is identified
- Promote the ZERO HARM culture, lead awareness activities, and provide relevant stakeholders with clear, timely information on occupational safety and environmental protection
- Escalate safety issues that could affect compliance with legal or company requirements. Contribute to the development and review of contractors’ OHS and environmental documentation
- Ensure that risk assessments are completed and kept up to date. Participate in audits and inspections, support near-miss and accident investigations, and help define and monitor corrective actions through to completion
- A technical qualification and certificates required to perform OHS duties.
- Good written and spoken communication skills in German and English.
- Basic knowledge of OHS and environmental regulations.
- At least one year of experience working in an OHS team on construction sites, preferably in the energy sector.
- Strong communication, organizational, and coaching skills.
- Willingness and ability to travel worldwide on a full-time basis.
