This role is structured around two core areas: Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Management and Operational Procurement & Order Execution. It requires advanced knowledge of supply chain management, significant experience in a manufacturing environment, and a proven ability to independently manage complex procurement processes.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- 50% Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Management
- Identify, evaluate, and select global and local suppliers for production machinery and technical services, aligning with ORION project specifications.
- Conduct market research to monitor pricing trends, technological advancements, and potential risks in the industrial equipment market.
- Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key suppliers to drive performance, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Establish and monitor supplier performance metrics to ensure quality, delivery, and cost targets are met.
- 50% Procurement Execution & Contract Management
- Lead the end-to-end procurement process for capital expenditures, from request for quotation (RFQ) to purchase order (PO) creation and management.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contractual conditions with suppliers to achieve optimal value and mitigate risk.
- Draft, review, and administer procurement contracts in collaboration with legal, engineering, and project management teams.
- Ensure all procurement activities adhere to company policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of professional experience in strategic sourcing or procurement, preferably focused on technical goods, capital equipment (CapEx), or manufacturing machinery.
- Demonstrated experience working independently on complex procurement projects with general supervision.
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken
