Snapshot of Your Day
As a Business Excellence Coordinator at Blades & Vanes Tampa, you will support key processes that help our growing manufacturing organization operate efficiently and deliver a positive employee experience. You will work closely with Business Excellence & Transformation, Talent Acquisition, Human Resources, Operations, EHS, IT, Security, staffing partners, and site leadership to coordinate recruiting and onboarding activities, monitor process compliance, support training and development programs, maintain critical reporting, and help drive continuous improvement across the organization. We are seeking a proactive, self-motivated professional who demonstrates strong ownership, initiative, and follow-through.
How You Make an Impact
- Coordinate recruiting, interviewing, preboarding, onboarding, and new-hire readiness activities in collaboration with Talent Acquisition, HR, hiring managers, and other site functions.
- Maintain accurate trackers for manpower, hiring, onboarding, and training, providing timely updates on open actions, risks, and upcoming start dates.
- Organize New Employee Orientation, including scheduling, communications, presenters, materials, attendance, and ensuring Day-One readiness.
- Support Business Excellence audits, compliance activities, training administration, and employee documentation, while following up on overdue or incomplete actions.
- Provide project and change-management coordination, including action tracking, stakeholder follow-up, communications, and implementation activities, while identifying process gaps and supporting continuous-improvement initiatives.
- Foster employee engagement through recognition programs, events, and communications, while building strong cross-functional partnerships and demonstrating ownership, initiative, and consistent follow-through.
What You Bring
- Evidence of a High School Diploma or GED is required.
- 3 or more years of experience in business administration, Human Resources, recruiting coordination, onboarding, project coordination, or related areas, preferably in a manufacturing or fast-paced environment.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required, with strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively engage with employees and candidates in both languages.
- Demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines while working independently and taking ownership of responsibilities.
- Exhibit a problem-solving and continuous-improvement mindset, with the ability to identify issues, engage stakeholders, drive actions toward resolution, and build effective working relationships across all levels of the organization. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with HR, recruiting, or project-management systems is preferred.
- Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers. This position will require an export license from the Department of Commerce, Bureau of Industry and Security, and/or the Department of State, Directorate of Defense Trade Controls. Issuance of any required license is a prerequisite for this position. The candidate must be able to work with export-controlled technology in accordance with US export control law.
