About the Role
A Snapshot of Your Day
As a Buyer for O&M Projects, you will manage the procurement of parts, components, installations, and MRO required to support power generation projects. You will work closely with technical, commercial, and project teams to ensure competitive sourcing, timely delivery, and full compliance with Siemens Energy procurement guidelines while supporting turnkey project environments.
How You'll Make an Impact
- Prospect, develop, and qualify suppliers aligned with project requirements.
- Lead RFP processes, commercial benchmarking, and price negotiations to secure competitive conditions.
- Issue and manage purchase orders and contracts for materials and services.
- Monitor supplier deliverables and conduct commercial due diligence.
- Negotiate claims related to quality deviations, delivery delays, and supplier performance.
- Align purchasing activities with functional and project requirements.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in purchasing roles managing medium to high complexity procurement processes.
- Experience sourcing parts, components, installations, and MRO, preferably within turnkey projects.
- Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and drawings.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills and user-level SAP knowledge.
- Fluent English, both written and spoken.
