About the Role
A Snapshot of Your Day
Be part of a team of Contract Managers and Legal Counsels, crafting the energy landscape of the future. In this role, you will support Siemens Gamesa's Wind Power Onshore business by handling contractual matters in project execution. This includes analyzing contracts, identifying risks, negotiating agreements, and advising project and site management in large-scale projects.
How You’ll Make an Impact
• Act as a trusted legal advisor and strategic partner to management and project execution and service teams.
• Steering legal and contractual risks in complex project business by supporting in all contractual and commercial matters, such as the change order processes and reviewing and drafting of relevant correspondence.
• Provide proactive legal advice, balancing governance with commercial objectives
• Contributing to pursuing and defending incoming and outgoing claims by collecting and advising on relevant project records, documentation, and all pertinent facts.
• Performing quantum or delay analyses to establish causation for relevant events impacting the project schedule and/or the scope of work.
What You Bring
• Law graduate from a common law jurisdiction, ideally Australia or New Zealand.
• Experience in a multinational company or international law firm.
• Specialist in contract law, construction law, international plant business, and legal risk and contract management.
• Skilled negotiator providing practical legal support to cross-functional teams.
• Fluent in English, with excellent communication and intercultural competence.
• Effective collaborator who can work independently and excel under pressure.
