What You Can Expect
Over two exciting years, you’ll gain hands-on experience and become an active part of your team’s daily activities. Through impactful projects in three customized assignments - including an eight-month international placement in Munich, Germany - you’ll gain a deep understanding of Siemens Energy. A dedicated mentor will support you every step of the way, giving you the chance to explore different roles, engage in immersive experiences, and build a strong network with peers and industry leaders. As part of our Treasury & Corporate Finance Graduate Program, you will rotate across three specialized assignments building a comprehensive understanding of how a world-class corporate finance drives a global energy business. The program is designed for graduates who want to combine financial expertise with digital innovation and help shape the future of Corporate Treasury.
How You’ll Make an Impact
As part of our Graduate Program, you are on the Siemens Energy team. You’ll share our purpose in energizing society by supporting customers with transitioning to a more sustainable world and work on real global issues, creating solutions that directly make an impact.
- Contribute to the Treasury & Corporate Finance data strategy by integrating, structuring, and enriching Treasury data in Snowflake, our central data platform.
- Develop analytics dashboards and process automation using tools such as Power Automate or UiPath, increasing efficiency across Treasury processes.
- Apply AI-enabled solutions to Treasury & Corporate Finance use cases, such as Python- or low-code-based applications, GenAI-assisted reporting, or prototyping AI agents for Treasury processes.
- Manage liquidity, execute hedging transactions, and support market risk reporting across Siemens Energy's global Treasury operations.
- Deepen your expertise in one of Treasury & Corporate Finance's other specialist areas, for example: Guarantees & Bank Partner Management, Project & Export Finance, or Counterparty Credit Risk.
What You Bring
- Strong interest in Corporate Treasury, Corporate Finance and financial markets, with a curiosity for how global companies manage liquidity, funding, financial risks, guarantees, and banking relationships to support business growth and financial resilience.
- Backgrounds may include Finance, Business Analytics, Data Science, Information Systems, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related disciplines.
- Passion for technology and problem-solving, enjoy experimenting with new AI tools or small data projects, and are comfortable picking up an unfamiliar platform or language; practical experience with Python and SQL, or with low-code tools such as Power Automate or UiPath, is a strong plus
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights Relevant experience through internships, working student roles, or research projects; additional permanent work experience of up to 36 months is welcome
- A master's or doctoral degree in Finance, Business Administration, Mathematics, Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related quantitative discipline International experience — for example through an exchange semester, an internship abroad, or cross-border project work — of at least 3 months is beneficial
- Excellent English skills to engage in a multicultural environment, with flexibility and willingness for international travel
