We are looking to hire a Solution Architect for our Document Management Solutions, based on the cloud based SAAS software Fabasoft Approve. Main focus will be on working closely with our business as well as Demand Managers to create solutions that reflect the business needs and make use of Fabasoft's established portfolio incl. latest AI features. Given the focus on advanced solution design and security, the ideal candidate will be a Senior Professional with proven experience in IT solution architecture, particularly with SaaS platforms. A strong background in IT service operations as well as cybersecurity principles is essential, along with the ability to manage complex projects independently.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Analyze business requirements and design scalable, secure solutions for new use cases utilizing Fabasoft SaaS platform capabilities, including AI features.
- Serve as the technical expert on Fabasoft solution design, ensuring compatibility, interoperability, and stability with existing IT infrastructure.
- Develop and document detailed solution architectures, integration patterns, and technical specifications for internal and client-facing projects.
- Evaluate and recommend new platform features and technologies to address evolving business needs within the project information management domain.
- Support service operations by analyzing and improving processes to enhance overall Cyber Security Maturity.
- Establish and maintain governance, configuration management, and disaster recovery protocols for the managed solutions.
- Act as a technical escalation point for complex issues, performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective and preventative measures.
- Collaborate with IT security teams to implement, monitor, and audit security controls in line with corporate policies.
- Manage solution-focused projects independently through the entire lifecycle, from conception to implementation, with limited supervision.
- Consult with business stakeholders to translate functional needs into clear technical requirements and architectural blueprints.

What You Bring
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Typically requires 5+ years of experience in IT solution architecture, with a demonstrated focus on SaaS platforms and systems integration.
- Proven experience in IT service operations and the practical application of cybersecurity principles and frameworks.
- Technical knowledge of cloud services, configuration management, solution architecture, and Fabasoft products to support the design, implementation, and maintenance of scalable, secure, and efficient technology solutions.
- Well‑developed professional and behavioral skills, including strategic thinking, analytical thinking, troubleshooting and problem‑solving, consulting, and influencing skills to support effective decision‑making, stakeholder engagement, and the successful delivery of business objectives.
- Knowledge of key processes and methodologies, including Agile practices, the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC), and workflow management to support efficient delivery, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
