A Snapshot of Your Day
As a Commercial Project Manager, you will be working alongside the STG Service Project Management and Order Management team. Together with the Project Manager, you constitute the core team and co-lead the project execution. You have full responsibility for commercial/finance related matters and support the technical project management in the execution of a defined portfolio of Service Projects across the full project lifecycle (from handover/bid phase through execution to closeout), within the targets (e.g. costs, time, quality) and for assigned countries. Ensuring customer satisfaction is also one of the key factors. Functionally you will be reporting to the Regional CPM Team Lead in Dammam.

The results of your work are of utmost importance to create transparency and improve the profitability of STG portfolio in the assigned countries.
You assess the businesses’ performance of our project backlog in close cooperation with the technical leads of Project Management and Service Operations and take adequate business decisions. How You’ll Make an Impact
- Successful execution of all financial and commercial activities in accordance with Siemens Energy Project Excellence standards and Financial Reporting Guidelines, with high accuracy and focus on forecast quality.
- Managing and executing multiple projects and transactional business with full ownership of project financials across the lifecycle, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and financial close-out. Monitoring, controlling, and optimizing project financial performance (costs, gross profit, cash flow, assets, and liabilities)
- Ensuring timely revenue recognition in line with IFRS / Siemens Energy Financial Reporting Guidelines (FRG). Reviewing and managing contractual and commercial aspects, including change orders, claims, and variations in coordination with Project Management
- Identifying and addressing deviations through variance analysis and managing risks and opportunities with clear mitigation actions. Managing foreign currency risks in line with hedging/currency guidelines, including hedge accounting.
- Supporting customer invoices, payment follow-up, and cash collection management in line with contract terms. Contributing to monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, including provisions, accruals, and reporting.
- Preparing project review documentation, tracking action items, and ensuring proper audit documentation and compliance with governance requirements.
- Acting as the commercial interface for customers and stakeholders, managing requirements and ensuring effective cross-functional collaboration to support successful project execution. Managing and reporting projects in Project Dash or other applicable tools, driving transparency, continuous improvement, and digitalization in project controlling processes.
What You Bring
- University Degree in Finance, Accounting, Commercial discipline from recognized finance or accounting body is desirable. At least 5 Years’ experience in commercial projects management, preferably in Service business.
- Good knowledge of MS Office, SAP (Project/CO) and other relevant IT tools. Hands-on experience of modeling in Excel and visualization / presentation of data in Power Point.
- Commercial project management-certification is preferrable.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Analytical thinking as well thinking out-of-the-box. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing, good networking, negotiating, and influencing skills.
- Ability to handle day to day Project related issues independently. Effective problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in critical situations.
- Sensitive and responsive to the needs of different religious, ethnic, tribal, and cultural groups.
- Proven integrity and high personal standards of behavior. Experience in working in a multinational and multicultural environment, as well as proven interpersonal skills and ability to successfully engage with diverse audiences.
