About the Role
A Snapshot of Your Day
You will support and further develop end-to-end Accounts Payable processes, resolve complex AP and P2P issues in SAP, and coordinate clarifications with internal stakeholders, external service providers, suppliers and authorities. You will also monitor outsourced AP activities, follow up on recurring issues, contribute to process improvement, standardization, testing, and automation initiatives.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Act as a central contact for AP process and SAP-related topics, including testing, documentation, user support and knowledge transfer.
- Monitor outsourced AP activities, review service-provider output and ensure that open or incorrectly handled cases are followed up.
- Analyze and resolve complex AP, P2P and intercompany issues, including blocked invoices, payment issues, PO-related discrepancies, down payments and vendor master data topics.
- Manage clarification and escalation of complex AP cases with internal stakeholders, external service providers, suppliers, and authorities.
- Identify recurring errors, support root-cause analysis and contribute to practical process improvements and standardization.
- Support AP process quality and compliance by identifying invoice, tax and process risks.
- Foster process automation and improvements to increase productivity
What You Bring
- Professional experience in Accounts Payable or P2P operations, ideally in an international, shared-service or outsourced finance environment.
- Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance, economics, or related field
- Strong hands-on SAP experience in an AP environment is required; SAP S/4HANA or previous key-user experience is an advantage.
- Ability to analyze end-to-end AP processes, resolve SAP-based issues and take ownership of complex cases.
- Excellent written and spoken English; German skills at B2 level or above are a strong advantage.
- Structured and proactive working style, clear communication and confidence in coordinating internal and external stakeholders.
