Position Title: Field Service Engineer Trainee

As a Field Service Engineer Trainee, you will support the Field Service team in delivering maintenance, troubleshooting, commissioning, and technical support activities for customer equipment and energy infrastructure. Working alongside experienced engineers and technicians, you will gain hands-on exposure to field operations while developing a strong understanding of safety, quality, and engineering best practices.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to learn about Siemens Energy technologies, customer service, and operational excellence in the energy sector.

What You´ll Learn and Do

• Assist Field Service Engineers during maintenance, inspection, troubleshooting, and repair activities on customer sites;
• Support commissioning and testing activities for Siemens Energy equipment and systems;
• Participate in preventive and corrective maintenance programs;
• Assist in collecting, recording, and analysing technical data from field operations;
• Support the preparation of technical reports, service documentation, and maintenance records
• Participate in safety briefings, toolbox talks, and compliance activities to ensure adherence to Siemens Energy EHS standards;

• Collaborate with internal teams and customers to support project and service delivery requirements.
• Assist with inventory checks, tool management, and field service logistics when required
• Participate in training, mentoring, and development activities within the Siemens Energy Trainee Program.

What We’re Looking For

Recent graduate or final-year student in Electrical, Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering;

• Strong interest in field service, maintenance, and energy technologies;
• Basic understanding of engineering principles and industrial equipment;
• Good organizational and planning skills;
• Proactive attitude and willingness to learn;
• Good interpersonal and communication skills;
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook);
• Good English communication skills (written and spoken).
• Familiarity with engineering principles and a strong interest in energy technologies;
• Willingness to travel and work at customer sites when required.
