As an Automation Control Engineer, you will design and develop control logics that drive operational excellence, reliability, and efficiency. Every project brings new technical challenges, international collaboration, and opportunities to innovate. You will work closely with colleagues and engineering partners across different countries, helping to deliver impactful energy solutions while continuously expanding your expertise.


How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Engineer control and process solutions for Instrumentation & Control systems within steam, combined cycle power plants, and renewable energy projects.
  • Develop, implement, and modify instrumentation and control logics, including hardware interfaces and Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs), according to customer requirements.
  • Build trusted relationships with customers, managing expectations and coordinating project-specific concepts with internal and external engineering partners.
  • Perform software functionality testing, troubleshoot issues, and ensure systems operate at optimal performance levels.
  • Collaborate effectively with international teams and stakeholders to support successful project delivery.


What You Bring

  • Master’s degree in Engineering related to energy generation, automation, control systems, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong interest in instrumentation, automation, control systems, and digital technologies.
  • Experience with Ladder Logic and knowledge of SPPA/Omnivise T3000, SIMATIC, PCS7, or S7 systems is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills and fluency in English; German language skills are a plus.
  • Flexibility to adapt to different projects, teams, and changing priorities while working effectively across diverse cultures.
