A Snapshot of Your Day
As an Electrical Engineer for Automation Technology (m/f/d), you will work in an agile environment focused on system testing of our control system. You will share responsibility for ensuring the quality of the system and for handling issues reported by our customers. You will regularly communicate with product managers to align on business requirements and priorities. In doing so, you will work in a global and diverse team.
How You’ll Make an Impact
  • You are part of the Omnivise T3000 System Test team located in Budapest and working together with the teams in Germany and India. As part of the global team you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of the overall system prior to release.
  • You will perform feature tests and the system integration test for the Omnivise system platform (planning and preparing the test setup, creating and executing test cases, documenting results in the test report, analyzing found defects and preparing the defect reports, testing the delivered error corrections).
  • Therefore, you will install and configure SPPA-T3000 test systems (HW and SW)
  • You also analyze issues reported by our customers in cooperation with our field engineers or customers (reproducing and analyzing system problems; testing and approving bug fixes for release).
  • You troubleshoot and implement corrections on customer installations, remotely and on site as needed.
  • You will advise "Product Managers" on the definition of requirements
  • You advise our project execution on questions and issues.
  • You work in and with international Scrum and Kanban teams.
What You Bring
  • B.Eng. / Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Master of Science, or a comparable education with several years of professional experience
  • A deep understanding of automation systems, including hardware and software components, which includes knowledge of controls such as PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), DCS (Distributed Control Systems)
  • The ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions. This also includes troubleshooting systems in case of failures or performance issues.
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills in English
