This position includes two headcounts: one for a Tooling Engineer and one for a Technical Project Manager.
A Snapshot of Your Day
The mission for a tooling engineer is to ensure all BTP suppliers’ operating equipment and tools are best serving ongoing production with least risks. In project phase, he/she plays a significant role to consolidate the deviation approvals who acts as a bridge between global tooling engineers and BTP suppliers.
How You’ll Make an Impact
• Manage and lead the individual equipment & tooling activities (PRS, Design review, FAT. Installation, SAT)
• Support AEO to do equipment & tooling maintenance in serial productions
• Governance of equipment & tooling for AEO’s dedicated equipment
• Support TPM generate equipment and tooling list in project phase.
• Support TPM perform the regular assets administration
• Validate to ensure design and final articles meet PRS requirement.
• Review Equipment operating performance status reports.
• Support internal procurement sourcing activities (review technical spec, input for suppliers’ performance, etc)
• Focus on budget and cost out solutions is required
• Be a mentor and coach to junior level tooling engineers.
What You Bring
• Graduate - master's or bachelor’s degree in engineering, Technical Studies or Manufacturing Engineering
• Experienced user of 3D cad systems.
• Experienced with equipment used in manufacturing of the blades within the wind industry (molds, drilling machine, cranes, etc)
• Familiar with APQP for wind quality system, especially for PFMEA tools and conducted real case independently for new production introduction
• Familiar with Training program development who can make a training plan for both external suppliers and internal team.
• Experienced working in international organization located in the different continents.
• Strong experience in the execution of operational tasks
• Proven ability to communicate efficiently with high level stakeholders, including senior executives.
• Quick learner, willing to work hard and be flexible to work on time differences cross continents.
• Fluent in English & Chinese
• 50% plus business travelling frequency is a must committed.
