As a Portfolio Management Officer within GS Digital Services Application Services, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and optimizing a diverse portfolio of digital products, IT services, and transformation initiatives that support Siemens Energy’s Gas Services business. Working closely with the Head of Application Services and a broad network of stakeholders, you will help drive portfolio planning, prioritization, governance, and performance transparency across the organization. You will turn complex data, financial information, and delivery insights into clear recommendations that support strategic decision-making. Every day, you will enable collaboration, strengthen operational excellence, and help ensure that investments deliver measurable business value. Through your leadership and coordination, you will support the successful evolution of business-critical digital solutions across the Application Services landscape.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Co-own and maintain the Application Services portfolio, including projects, digital products, IT services, transformation initiatives, and organizational programs alongside the Head of Application Services.
- Drive portfolio planning, prioritization, roadmap management, demand management, and resource allocation, balancing strategic objectives, business value, financial constraints, and delivery capacity.
- Support leadership decision-making through portfolio reviews, executive briefings, management reviews, reporting, and strategic presentations.
- Monitor portfolio performance using KPIs, OKRs, financial metrics, service indicators, and delivery milestones, ensuring visibility of risks, opportunities, and business outcomes.
- Act as a trusted partner to senior leadership by coordinating governance activities, management cadences, leadership meetings, All Hands sessions, financial transparency initiatives, and organizational follow-up actions.
What You Bring
- Proven experience in portfolio management, IT service management, product management, project management, or organizational governance within complex enterprise environments.
- Strong background managing portfolios that include IT services, digital products, application development initiatives, and business transformation programs.
- Experience with portfolio planning, prioritization, roadmap management, demand management, capacity planning, value realization, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, facilitation, and influencing skills, with the ability to build trusted partnerships across leadership, business, customer, and delivery organizations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, including experience with governance frameworks, KPI reporting, OKR management, risk management, dependency management, and operational performance monitoring.
- Ability to foster collaboration across geographically distributed and cross-functional teams. And fluency in English is required; German language skills are considered an advantage.

You will join the Digital Services Application Services (GS DS AS) organization, which enables the Gas Services business through the ownership, operation, and continuous evolution of business-critical digital platforms and application services. The team works closely with business capabilities, Business Partners, and delivery organizations to provide reliable IT services, drive digital transformation, strengthen operational excellence, and deliver measurable business value. Together, the organization focuses on creating transparency, fostering collaboration, and enabling sustainable business success through technology and innovation.
