A Snapshot of Your Day
- Lead the administration, governance, and continuous improvement of U.S. Health and Welfare benefit programs, including medical, dental, vision, prescription drug, life insurance, disability, employee assistance, health savings accounts (HSA), health reimbursement arrangements (HRA), and flexible spending accounts (FSA), while supporting annual strategy reviews and benefit plan enhancements
- Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, including ERISA, IRS requirements, Form 5500 filings, state insurance regulations, and internal governance standards by maintaining plan documentation, managing audits, monitoring legislative changes, and supporting benefits committee governance activities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for benefit vendors, third-party administrators, consultants, actuaries, and internal business partners by managing vendor performance, resolving operational issues, supporting annual renewals, and ensuring high-quality service delivery
- Oversee day-to-day benefit plan administration, including eligibility, enrollment, payroll coordination, funding, financial reconciliations, plan corrections, participant escalations, non-discrimination testing, and operational controls while partnering closely with Payroll and Finance to ensure accurate plan administration
- Develop and deliver employee benefit communications, maintain benefits content on internal platforms, support wellness initiatives, educate HR partners on benefit programs, and provide subject matter expertise to enhance employee understanding and engagement
- Support strategic Compensation & Benefits initiatives by maintaining current knowledge of benefit legislation and industry trends, participating in special projects, collaborating with Global Benefits and Insurance teams, and recommending improvements that strengthen governance, compliance, and the overall employee experience
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 5–8+ years of experience administering and managing U.S. Health and Welfare benefit programs within a corporate environment
- Strong knowledge of U.S. Health and Welfare benefit plans, ERISA, IRS regulations, Form 5500 requirements, compliance, vendor management, benefits governance, and employee benefits administration; experience in a multinational organization preferred
- Demonstrated ability to interpret complex legislation, manage cross-functional projects, analyze benefit programs, oversee vendor relationships, and develop compliant operational processes that support business objectives
- Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, project management, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to simplify complex benefit topics and effectively collaborate across HR, Payroll, Finance, Legal, and external partners in a fast-paced environment
