Join us as the Head of Operations Preparation in Trento, where you will play a pivotal role in ensuring a seamless production flow. Imagine leading a dedicated team to guarantee that materials are meticulously prepared, controlled, and delivered on time to the shop floor, aligning perfectly with production requirements. You will coordinate with various departments, including warehouse, purchasing, and production planning, to ensure effective execution of all order preparation activities. Your leadership will be essential in driving continuous improvement initiatives and maintaining high standards of material handling. Get ready to make a significant impact in our operations!
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Lead, manage, and develop the Operations Preparation team, setting clear priorities and monitoring performance.
- Ensure the accurate execution of all order preparation activities, from material arrival to production release.
- Monitor incoming materials from suppliers, ensuring their availability aligns with production needs.
- Coordinate with warehouse teams to organize material preparation and kitting activities efficiently.
- Act as a key interface with Planning, Purchasing, and Material Management to align supply with production demand.
What You Bring
- Proven experience in warehouse operations and/or purchasing, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
- You possess a strong understanding of material flow, logistics, and production support processes.
- You demonstrate leadership skills with a hands-on, problem-solving mindset.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Fluency in English and Italian is required for the position, proficiency in another language is a plus.
