A Snapshot of Your Day

As a Storesperson, you'll play a vital role in keeping our warehouse operations running efficiently, ensuring materials are received, stored, and dispatched accurately to support customers around the world. Working as part of a collaborative logistics team, you'll help maintain the smooth flow of goods while ensuring inventory accuracy and high standards of quality.
Every day brings a variety of tasks, from receiving deliveries and preparing customer orders to managing inventory through SAP and supporting continuous improvement within the warehouse. You'll also play an important role in maintaining our Zero Harm culture by following safe working practices and helping ensure products reach our customers in perfect condition.
How You'll Make an Impact
  • Receive, inspect, store, pick, pack, and dispatch materials and products accurately, supporting domestic and international customer deliveries.
  • Operate manual handling equipment, load and unload vehicles safely, and ensure goods are handled correctly to protect product quality.
  • Process warehouse transactions using SAP or the Warehouse Management System (WMS), maintaining accurate inventory records and generating shipping documentation.
  • Support inventory accuracy through perpetual stock counts, cycle counting, and effective stock control practices.
  • Maintain high standards of health, safety, and quality by carrying out equipment safety checks, following warehouse procedures, and promoting Siemens Energy's Zero Harm culture.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to optimise warehouse operations, improve material flow, and deliver excellent service to both internal and external customers.
What You Bring
  • Experience working within a warehouse, stores, logistics, or supply chain environment.
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations, including goods receiving, picking, packing, inventory control, and manual handling equipment.
  • Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ideally SAP, with good attention to detail when processing inventory transactions.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to health, safety, and quality standards, with a proactive approach to maintaining a safe workplace.
  • High School Diploma (or equivalent). A forklift licence and vocational training in logistics or supply chain management would be advantageous.
