Join Siemens Energy as a Contract Engineering Manager and play a pivotal role in the successful execution of high-voltage substation projects in Portugal. You will be the main reference for contract management, ensuring that all contractual obligations, communications, and changes are meticulously managed throughout the project lifecycle. Imagine leading contract management activities, protecting Siemens Energy’s commercial interests while collaborating with diverse teams to drive project success. Your expertise will help identify risks and opportunities, making a significant impact on our energy infrastructure projects.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- You will lead contract management activities during project execution, ensuring all aspects are effectively controlled.
- Manage contractual correspondence with customers, partners, suppliers, and key stakeholders to maintain clear communication.
- Control contractual obligations, notice requirements, and deliverables while overseeing contract administration procedures.
- Identify, assess, and manage contractual risks and opportunities to enhance project outcomes.
- Drive change order, variation, and claims management processes from identification through negotiation to closure.
What You Bring
- You hold a degree in Engineering, preferably in Electrical or Civil .
- You have at least 5 to 10 years of experience in contract management, claims management, or project management, ideally within energy, infrastructure, EPC, or construction projects.
- You possess structured knowledge of FIDIC contracts and contract administration principles.
- You have a solid understanding of energy construction projects.
- You are fluent in English, with Portuguese and/or Spanish being a plus.
- Travel may be required for project site visits in Portugal.
