A Snapshot of Your Day
This position is a replacement to ensure continuity within the Digital Innovation Partner team, supporting the Wind Power finance function. The role is focused on driving finance digitalization initiatives by translating complex business and financial questions into data-driven solutions. To achieve this, the role centers on three core areas: Digital & Analytics Business Partnering to define data use cases from financial challenges; Advanced Analytics & Solution Development to build quantitative models and automate processes; and Data Engineering & Project Support to manage data pipelines and guide initiatives from concept to rollout. Given the focus on these areas, the ideal candidate will possess a master's degree in a quantitative field, over four years of finance or controlling experience, and hands-on expertise in Python, BI tools like Power BI, and cloud data platforms.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Collaborate with Wind Power Finance teams to understand business challenges, strategic priorities, and analytical needs.
- Translate complex business and financial questions into structured data and analytics use cases.
- Act as a key liaison between finance, business, and technology departments to ensure alignment on digital solutions and project requirements.
- Develop and implement analytical and quantitative solutions using Python-based tools (e.g., Pandas, Plotly, Streamlit).
- Apply statistical and quantitative methods, such as regression, clustering, and simulations, to generate actionable insights from financial data.
- Identify and execute automation opportunities in reporting, analytics, and data preparation to improve efficiency and data quality.
- Maintain and enhance Zenith planning solution, create new planning solutions in Atom Planning.
- Support the development of modern data pipelines and analytical services using cloud platforms like AWS or Google Cloud.
- Contribute to analytics initiatives throughout their lifecycle, including solution testing, creating documentation, and supporting user rollout.
- Operate within version-controlled and CI/CD-enabled environments (e.g., Git, GitHub) to maintain robust development practices.
What You Bring
- Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, Industrial Engineering, or a similar quantitative field.
- A minimum of 4 years of professional experience, with profound knowledge in financial controlling or commercial project business.
- Practical experience in data analytics, data management, or process improvement, preferably in an international environment.
- Technical skills in Python, SQL, data engineering, AWS, SAP applications, and Power BI to support data management, analytics, cloud-based solutions, and business reporting.
- Skills in analytical methods, including statistical and data modeling, data visualization, data‑driven decision‑making, and process improvement to generate actionable insights, optimize performance, and support informed business decisions.
- Effective behavioral skills, including collaboration and influencing abilities to foster productive working relationships, drive stakeholder alignment, and support the achievement of business objectives.

You will be part of a small, unified team that spans multiple functions, working closely with colleagues in Spain and beyond. Our global team collaborates on generation power plants across 24 countries, ensuring that we deliver innovative solutions to our clients.
