About the Role
A Snapshot of Your Day
You monitor the quality and compliance of our standard parts library. In close alignment with the sites and workstream leaders, you define and implement measures within CAD Library Parts to drive harmonization and improve quality.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- You provide technical coordination for our activities related to 3D standard parts, as well as standard components, and take on the challenge of organizing and maintaining an existing global 3D CAD library.
- You identify potential areas for action and proactively propose further optimization measures.
- Your expertise in this field enables you to develop binding requirements for data quality and model quality, and to actively monitor compliance with them.
- Consistent shared data is the foundation of our future; therefore, you place particular emphasis on clarity and uniqueness and actively drive harmonization.
- We succeed only together. You therefore work as part of a team of CAD experts, supported by specialists in PLM systems, databases, and data analytics. You support harmonization projects across the sites.
- You support ongoing R&D projects. The success of our work is reflected in the real added value we create for the sites.
What You Bring
- A completed degree in electrical engineering or mechanical engineering.
- Strong analytical thinking and an independent way of working.
- Solid experience in applying standards for standard parts.
- Basic knowledge of design engineering, ideally in the field of transformers.
- Familiarity with CAD programs such as Creo or NX and the related PDM systems, such as Windchill or Teamcenter.
- Willingness to travel for business, approximately 10%.
- Good written and spoken English skills.
