A Snapshot of Your Day

Our steadily growing High-Voltage Substation group is looking for a highly organized, solution-oriented, and detail-focused Financial Project Administrator (FPA) to support our Commercial Project Management organization.

The FPA serves as the execution and data backbone of our project finance processes, ensuring accurate system setup, transactional excellence, and reliable project data for decision-making. Working closely with Commercial Project Managers (CPMs), Project Managers (PMs), and supporting functions, the FPA enables CPMs to focus on commercial steering, customer interaction, forecasting, risk management, and overall project performance.

The role supports dedicated CPM teams and may additionally own selected business-unit-wide support activities, reporting requirements, and process improvement initiatives.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Support the Commercial Project Management organization through project finance, reporting, system administration, and portfolio management activities, including the independent management of small- to medium-sized projects.
  • Set up and maintain project structures by creating and updating sales orders, billing plans, project structures, budgets, and master data for Substation projects, while executing cost and revenue changes and ensuring alignment between SAP and reporting tools.
  • Manage customer billing and cash collection activities, including preparing and submitting customer invoices through customer portals, following up on outstanding payments, and maintaining accounts receivable reporting.
  • Support project financial planning and controls by participating in monthly forecasting and closing activities, performing data preparation, system updates, reconciliations, and monitoring project master data, risks, opportunities, claims, and forecast information to ensure data quality.
  • Coordinate project closeout and documentation activities, including warranty administration, completion of final project documentation, and ensuring all project deliverables are properly finalized.
  • Prepare and maintain business and portfolio reporting, including ad hoc reports, portfolio analyses, management presentations, and central portfolio review and status reports to support business decisions.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
  • 4-6 years of experience in project administration, finance, commercial operations, project controls, project coordination, or similar roles, with a strong understanding of financial processes, data management, and ERP systems (SAP preferred).
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and Office skills, with strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and attention-to-detail capabilities, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional stakeholders, combined with a continuous improvement mindset focused on process optimization and digitalization.
  • Professional working proficiency in English.
