A Snapshot of Your Day
As a Cash and Bank Analyst at Siemens Energy, your day will involve supporting daily operations by managing cash transactions and ensuring accurate month-end closing activities in compliance with IFRS and local GAAP standards. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to address accounting issues, perform bank reconciliations, ensure the right exchange rates posting, monitoring and supporting payments process, attending audits and others related to banks. Your role will also include validating bank statement imports, investigate payment rejections, and participating in process improvement initiatives, all while fostering strong partnerships within the finance community. Embracing a mindset of continuous learning and feedback will be key to your personal and professional growth in this dynamic environment.
How You’ll Make an Impact
As a detail oriented, actively committed and involved Cash and Banks Analyst you will be responsible for:
- Validate and manage the import/upload of bank statements (automatic and manual) in SAP, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
- Perform bank reconciliations and account balance reconciliations between SAP and banking interfaces, following up on and resolving outstanding items.
- Process and record special transactions, including overpayments, employee-related transactions, tax authority payments, payroll taxes, and transfers between internal and external bank accounts.
- Manage cash and banking activities, including recording cash transactions, clearing bank-related suspense accounts, and performing cash-related general ledger account reconciliations.
- Support payment processing by investigating and resolving payment rejections and ensuring the accurate posting of foreign exchange rates.
- Execute month-end close activities related to cash and banking operations and provide support during internal and external audits.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting or related field, or relevant work experience in Cash and Banks accounting.
- Preferably 1-2 years of experience in Cash and Banks accounting or Finance
- Basic knowledge of IFRS and GAAP accounting standards
- Proficient in MS-Office, particularly MS-
- Good understanding of business processes in
- Strong analytical and problem-solving
- Will be a plus: Power BI, Data Analysis
