A Snapshot of Your Day

Position will be responsible for executing project orders in the Grid Technologies business area to include transportation & logistics, customer interface, scheduling, communication, and coordination of transformer and switchgear equipment installations. This position will interface global factory project management teams, business development, marketing, logistics, installation advisors, proposal specialists, and contract administrators to ensure safe and compliant delivery and installation of equipment to the customers in Central America. This role is structured around three core areas: comprehensive project planning and execution, diligent financial and risk management, and effective stakeholder management. This approach ensures that all aspects of the project lifecycle are professionally managed, from initial scope and budget to final delivery and reporting.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, and resource assignments to ensure alignment with project objectives.
  • Manage the entire project lifecycle, from initiation and scoping through to implementation and final closure, ensuring all deliverables are met.
  • Monitor and report on project status, including progress against timelines, milestones, and quality standards. Control and manage project budgets, including cost forecasting, invoicing, and regular financial reporting.
  • Identify, analyze, and mitigate potential project risks and obstacles to prevent delays and budget overruns.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all project stakeholders, managing expectations and facilitating communication. Ensure effective communication and collaboration within the project team and with external partners.
  • Manage changes to the project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques.

What You Bring

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Engineering or a related field.
  • 8+ years of professional experience in managing business or operational projects.
  • Effective organization and communication skills, especially for customer relationship management, negotiation and reporting.
  • Project management life cycle skills with proven experience handling client facing projects and deliverables.
  • Fluent in English.
