Collaborate with Germany R&D teams to provide technical support for the manufacturing of gas turbine hot gas path components in China
How You’ll Make an Impact
• Disposition of manufacturing deviations and non-conformances considering impact on cost, functionality, performance and durability
• Execution of dimensional evaluations, tolerance stack-ups, fits and clearance analyses and related engineering activities
• Provision of technical expertise in gas turbine manufacturing and production support to internal and external suppliers
• Evaluation of manufacturing processes and methods for proper implementation of technical requirements
• Assurance of adherence to design for manufacturing principles including drafting and revision of product definitions and manufacturing-oriented design approaches
• Support product and process qualification (PPQ) and series production of gas turbine hot gas path components at the facility.
What You Bring
• Master’s degree or doctorate in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Materials Engineering.
• Several years of experience manufacturing gas turbine hot gas path components.
• Strong knowledge of development, functionality, tolerance principles, stack-up analysis, and design considerations for manufacturing.
• Experience with SAP, Teamcenter, NX, or comparable tools and systems.
• Expertise in turbine components manufacturing processes, including conventional and non-conventional machining, with experience dispositioning non-conforming high- temperature turbine hardware; demonstrates strong motivation, safety awareness, and efficient task execution.
• Strong communication skills, fluent English, and willingness to travel approximately 25%.
• Strong problem-solving and coordination, and logical thinking skills; rigorous and detail- oriented in work, with a strong sense of responsibility
